World Wide Knit In Public Day 2012
The dates for 2012 are the 9th to the 17th of June – second saturday to the third sunday in June.
(Never too early to start planning the 2nd Annual Yankton WWKIP Bar Crawl!)
North Country Fiber Fair (NCFF) 2012
This year NCFF will take place September 17-18.
The NCFF website still has the 2011 information but will be updated eventually for 2012. I’ll keep you posted.

It’s February, the shortest month of the year. No worries, though, because it’s Leap Year, and that means there will be five Wednesdays to meet up and enjoy stitching, sipping, and a palaver. Come join us!

Laura and I are planning to go to NCFF on Saturday, September 17th. I know some of you are going at other times but, if you are planning on going on Saturday, you are welcome to join our car pool.
We will be leaving Yankton around 5:45 a.m. (sorry, but I have a class at 9!) and can pick you up along the way. In order to be picked up you need to be able to meet us somewhere along US Hwy, 81, SD Hwy. 42, or I-29 in or north of Sioux Falls. (This route can be altered depending on who is riding along).
Also, please let me know if you want to stay for the dinner and/or fashion show. I don’t mind but not everyone will be expecting to stay that late and we’ll take everyone’s preferences into account.
The sooner I hear from you the better. There are up to 6 seats available plus room for whatever packages you may pick up throughout the day. Of course, if you really plan to go all out, let me know. I’ll bring plenty of bungee cords so we can strap the excess to the roof rack. If there are more than 4 people total, there will be room for a wheel or two, in case you plan on spinning.

We’ve taken in the 7 and are wrapping up at Ben’s. Still going to join us then head on out to Magilly’s at the lake where we’ll be settling in for a meal and a drink or two.
On to the Icehouse for a beer and then back to the 7.
